As a graphic design student you don't get many opportunities to create things with your hands. However, with this project we were tasked with creating a book cover with any material/object of our choice.
I chose to re-create the book cover for "Hidden Figures" by Margot Lee Shetterly. I used glass as my main material as well as card stock for the lettering.
I will say, smashing glass + then re-arranging it around the lettering was such a blast. I love creating things with my hands so this was such a welcome break from the screens.
